What If I Want To Sell My Business?

Steps:

1) Provide your prospective buyer with our application documents.  Provide them with a copy of your lease.

2) Email or snail mail the completed application and statement to our office (Berkeley or Sacramento depending on your premises location) for our review.  If they are approved, we will meet with your buyer to review your lease and the document that assigns the lease to them.  If there is a problem with approving your buyer, we will contact you to discuss the issue.

3) After the effective date of the assignment, chosen by you, your buyer will take over your account with us.  We do not prorate expenses and are not a party to your escrow.

Why Don’t You Provide A List Of Approved Vendors?

The best vendor is often the one that is immediately available. If there is an emergent need for repair at your business, and we are not available, we want you to use the vendor that suits your needs and keeps your business open. If the repair is our responsibility according to the lease, we will pay for the work.
